Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Crunch Smoothie

20200306_095928Maybe the name is a bit much but this smoothie bowl really does have it all!  It will totally satisfy any cravings you have for peanut butter cup ice cream – but it’s incredibly healthy with no dairy, no refined sugar, no gluten!  It also contains a good dose of plant-based proteins, healthy fats, and fiber!  It’s almost too good to be true.

It takes 30 min to make the chocolate granola, but it is so worth it!  Your kitchen will smell delicious and then you can indulge in this bowl several times during the week.  You can also eat it by the handful!

The smoothie base itself is as simple as can be; a banana, a splash of almond milk, peanut butter, flax seed and a spoonful of protein powder.  It’s frosty and peanut-buttery, and the crunchy, cacao-flecked granola topping with just a kiss of sea salt takes the whole thing over the edge.  This is healthy enough to power your morning but definitely tastes like dessert!
